This is my go to spot for some good tasting Mexican tacos. I especially like the tacos de carne asada and al pastor.

I came to this location while on vacation last month (December 17th, 2023). It was the first stop after leaving the airport with the rental car. The location of this establishment is a little difficult to get to as it's on a street with heavy construction and odd traffic flow. When we entered the location, we headed to the counter to place our order. We ordered several menu items to get a sample of this and that. Here's how it went: Fajitas de Res Fun fact: Although we call it Mexican, fajitas, it's actually a Tex-Mex dish. It's said to have started with the Mexican cowboys working in Texas. When the American cowboys butchered cows, they would give the Mexican cowboys the least desirable parts (head, intestines, and skirt steak) as part of their pay. The skirt steak cut into strips was called Fajitas! Now, these Fajitas were tender and flavored with pepper, onion, and chili powder. The fajitas were accompanied by refried beans, cheese, lettuce, and sour cream. The portion was enough for one person but not meant for sharing. Other items included a pastor burrito (served American style; tightly wrapped), and Quesadilla de Queso. The food served here while labeled as Mexican in origin is a mixture of Tex-Mex and traditional Mexican food. Further, the food came out in a fair amount of time, and the service received from the cashier was friendly and efficient. #supportlocal

Great little place. The ranchero sauce on the enchiladas was fantastic. My burrito was fantastic as well. They have a little salsa bar. I love those. Location is in a not so great area but if I'm in the area again I will for sure go again

Amazing food! Order at the window and take a seat or take it to go. If you're in the area you have to stop by and give them a try!

Food is bomb here! We always get diff tacos, carne asada burrito and it's soooo good. Especially if you're hungover and need that grease!

Just stopped in today for a few tacos and my partner had a carne asada burrito. Friendly service, cozy ambience and excellent food. I would definitely go back!

Stooooop the car! Make a uturn and park the car cause I'm getting out! This place is fiiiiiire! I cannot begin to tell you how delicious and inexpensive it is! The food was fresh, made to order and ridiculously good! I just got a carne asada plate and a torta de pastor. However, I wanted to order the tacos, flautas, and a damn burrito to go. Kidding, not kidding! I do not know where people say it had no flavor. Sis! Get your taste buds checked out or maybe they got a new cook. Idk but if it weren't for the amount of people ordering (and us sitting in the way) I probably would have licked my plate. My picky fiver year old even ate! I will most definitely be returning the next time I visit my sister I will say, lock your doors though because the neighborhood is sketch 100. But sometimes you gotta go to these places to get the good ass food

A Nice Find This was my first visit to Nuevo Taquito, and the staff, service, and food were really good. I will definitely be coming back soon. Nuevo Taquito just might be my new Taco Tuesday spot. On this visit, we shared the carne asada and chicken tacos, rice, beans, chips, and salsa. The Carne Asada is flavorfu, moist, tender and you actually see the staff grilling the carne asada and chicken outside, and it smells wonderful. Delicious and savory Mexican cuisine. At wallet friendly prices. A great place to make your Taco Tuesday destination. One of the best hidden gems of the valley.
